Good to be on the Today programme discussing the UK China relationship. I answered questions on the complexity of the relationship – the need to differentiate between strategic and non-strategic areas – whether it was possible to keep these areas discreet – about the need to have clarity from the Government – that there would be viable areas where the UK and China would be able to work together – and why China should listen to the UK.
