Great to have spoken on four panels at CP21, alongside cabinet ministers, MPs, journalists and industry practitioners. The unifying theme was the need to go for growth.
The first was Conservative Home’s event alongside the City Minister John Glen, Miles Celic and Kay Swinburne on ‘Financial & Related Professional Services: A Roadmap for Economic Recovery’ held in partnership with TheCityUK – watch here.
I then spoke on Policy Exchange’s panel on making the most of post-Brexit opportunities with Lord Frost, Arlene Foster and Martin McTague – watch here.
Third was The TaxPayers’ Alliance on whether the Conservatives are now the party of tax and spend with Ben Bradley MP, Brendan Clark- Smith MP, Darwin Friend and Mike Denham – watch here.
And finally, The Spectator’s event on the green agenda and the role of transport policy in it with economics editor Kate Andrews, Robert Courts MP and Huw Merriman MP.
